South Moose Mountain – September 11th

September 11, 2009 at 5:58 pm 3 comments

GroovyGirl is in school and GroovyMom gets to go hiking.  GroovyBoy and Mom set out to get to the highest point in Hanover – at least according to the Darmouth Outing Club book.  The trail follows the AT as it wanders up the side of the mountain – and yes, fall is starting here in New England.  There were a few red maples along the way.  The minibacon cheeseburger was consumed in haste, so as to make it back home in time to meet the school bus and GroovyGirl.  The last time that I carried a pack (over 6 years ago) it did not have a kid in it!

Entry filed under: New Hampshire Summits.

I just noticed you’ve done this hike before.

I guess you either like the hike or the Cheeseburgers!
