Balch Hill, Hanover, NH (942 Ft.) Memorial Day 2009

June 1, 2009 at 6:02 am 3 comments

After picking up GroovyDad from an arduous half day of work, we all headed to Balch Hill in Hanover, where GroovyBoy was loaded into the backpack. No, he did not load UP his backpack, he was loaded INTO the backpack! The 0.2 mile trail was easily led by GroovyGirl and the grass covered summit was the perfect spot for some microwaved White Castle cheeseburgers! After some kite flying and wildflower (aka: Dandelion) picking, the group descended by a different trail to complete the loop.

Ahh, White Castle, the cheeseburger summiteers’s friend! Just finished my first frozen 16-pack, and will go back for more. Compact, tasty (?), and less filling.
