New Lists of Summits

March 30, 2008 at 9:01 pm Leave a comment

It’s been a relatively quiet winter for Cheeseburger summiting but the weather is warming up and we expect to start seeing some new posts to the site. This break has provided an opportunity to work on some of the behind-the-scenes stuff that supports the site. Something you might find useful is a way to look up any of the ~70,000 summits in the United States. Go to the “Summits” tab above and you will find an updated page that allows you to navigate to lists of summits in each state and county. A new addition is a page for each individual summit that details all cheeseburgers eaten on its summit. If you follow the links all the way through you’ll find that we now have a summary page for each Summitcheese hiker. All of this is a bit rough right now – we’ll be adding more links and fixing up the format but still wanted to make this content available to you. As a bonus, we’ve removed all the static County Summits pages and it seems that navigating the site is a bit snappier now.

If you have any suggestions or find any problems comment below or let us know at Thanks.
