Murdoch Mountain – Mirror Lake Highway, Uintah Mountains

June 18, 2006 at 6:37 pm 1 comment

Our original intent was to hike up Bald Mountain, but it still had a considerable amount of snow. So we walked across the street to hike up Murdoch Mountain (11,212 ft.). “Mountain” might be a misnomer since the hike was about 1 mile long (each way) with 600 ft. of elevation gain. But the views of Timpanogos, and many Uintah Peaks (Bald, Notch, Hayden, etc.) was tremendous. We also welcome our newest Cheeseburger summiteer – Marion.

Murdock, I’m coming for you!
