The inaugural hike of the Summit Cheeseburger Contest. An early morning hike up a smallish (7043 ft.) peak right out of Salt Lake Valley.
On the menu: The Baco in the Saddle Burger
Kirkland half pound patty (cooked thoroughly)
Lettuce, one leaf
Tomato, one slice
A smattering of dill pickle pieces (Vlasic)
Once slice, cheddar (Tillamook)
Dash of Bacos (Betty Crocker), melted into the cheese
Toasted sesame see bun
Key: Serve at ambient temperature to achieve leather-like texture.
